Here’s what we know:

  • Staff & students will be provided with disposable masks, soap & sanitizer
  • We will be required to follow CDC guidelines including:
    • Maintaining social distance
    • Face coverings to be worn while inside the building
    • School custodial staff will be required to clean touchpoints, such as door knobs and student desks, throughout the day and at night, as well as replenish supplies.

  • Families may register their children for 100% remote instruction. Students do not need to meet any medical thresholds to choose full-time remote learning.

  • The DoE will provide signage and floor markings in order to support the redesign of movement protocols within the building. This will be done to minimize congestion.

  • We will prioritize systems and structures for social-emotional and mental wellness for staff and students.

  • On July 7, the DOE will present us with different options for Programming Models for September

Next steps:

  • By July 15, the DOE will send families a survey to declare whether they want to remain on remote learning.

  • By July 23, each school will be expected to submit an Initial Programming Model Choice
