Monday is a day that we celebrate Martin Luther King Junior Day in Dr King's time there were bad laws that kept black people and white people apart and some places black people couldn't go to the same schools as white people they couldn't even live on the same streets Dr King and many other people knew this was wrong the laws needed to be changed Dr King said we should all be treated the same he said that should be kind to 1 another he said everyone was an important part of our country he used his words to help change the world today people remember the good work he did thank you for bringing us together Dr King these are these are some facts about Dr Dr King's big speech Dr King gave a speech in 9 1963 it was a big deal many people came to hear him talk I had the speech was called I have a dream he talked about making a better world for all people Dr King gave the speech in Washington DC Dr King made such a difference in our world you can be like Dr King too be kind be be kind to others offer help to someone who needs it you'll feel good too include everyone invite everyone to play No 1 likes to be left out use your words to show how you feel talk it out if you are upset about something what would you do Dr King said we should use words to solve problems imagine someone pushes you on the playground you get angry and want to push back what would you do
